This is a major release that introduces a completely rebuilt, modern user interface for CtrlShare, designed for today’s M-Files desktop and web clients.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Brand-new co-authoring experience. Every dialog — check-out, check-in, share and open — has been redesigned from the ground up for a faster, clearer and more modern experience.
Features
Section titled “Features”- Redesigned dialogs. New, consistent dialogs for checking documents out, sharing them, opening them for co-authoring, and checking them back in.
- Smoother interactions. Refreshed loading and success states with polished animations make each step easy to follow.
- Improved sharing panel. A reworked sharing panel makes it simpler to find people and grant the right level of access.
- Synchronize, Check-in and Undo Check-out. Streamlined actions for synchronizing co-authored changes, checking documents back in, and undoing a check-out.
- Full localization. The new interface is fully localizable.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”- More reliable connectivity. Added automatic retry logic for service calls, so transient network issues no longer interrupt co-authoring.
- Quality. Introduced an automated test suite to safeguard reliability going forward.
