Structure

A portal is a grid. Structural parts are the rows of that grid: they hold components and decide how wide each one is and how the layout reflows when the pane is resized.

Widths are given in sixteenths rather than pixels, because the grid has to work in a narrow right-hand pane and on a full-screen dashboard without being configured twice.

SegmentConfigure a CtrlPortals Segment — the plain structural container that holds modules and gives them a width in the responsive portal grid.

Header segmentConfigure a CtrlPortals Header segment — the structural part that adds a title strip filled from properties on the object being viewed.

Column segmentConfigure a CtrlPortals Column segment — the structural part that splits one row of the portal grid into columns, each holding its own modules.
