Comments
The Comments module shows a comment thread against the current object.
It has two modes, and which one you get depends on the vault rather than on this module. With a comment object type set up under comment configuration, and an employee object for the person commenting, each comment is an object of its own: users get replies, editing of their own comments and per-object-type permissions. Without a comment object type, the module shows only M-Files version comments. Users can still add one, which checks the object out and in and creates a new version, but cannot reply or edit. A user with no employee object sees the same thread as everyone else, but their new comments are saved as version comments, and they cannot reply or edit.
Comments
How many comments to show, in which order, and whether users may add one.
Limit
The maximum number of comments to display. Default: all of them.
Ascending
Sorts the comments oldest first. Default: newest first.
Can add comment?
Whether users can add comments. Default: yes.
Height
The height of the comment list in pixels before it scrolls. Default: 400.
