CtrlPortals
CtrlPortals is an M-Files vault application that renders M-Files objects as configurable portals and dashboards inside the M-Files Desktop and Web clients. A vault administrator configures it; end users see the result in place of the standard object view.
M-Files stores relationships between documents, projects, customers and everything else very well, but presents them as a file tree. Someone who works in the vault every day can navigate that. Someone who opens it twice a month cannot, and neither can a manager who wants a total rather than a list. CtrlPortals lets you build the view those people actually need — a project page with its documents, contacts, dates and a chart of hours, laid out on one screen — without moving any data out of M-Files.
