Experimental groundwork for SQL-backed plots and new chart types.
This build introduced an experimental “map trace” capability for sourcing chart data from SQL Server. The feature matured and shipped fully in 3.25.5.0.
New Features (experimental)
Section titled “New Features (experimental)”- SQL Server data in plots: Connect to a SQL Server database and drive charts from query results.
- New chart types: Support for indicator plots, pie-chart holes (donuts), and sunburst charts.
- Clickable traces: Click a chart trace to fetch and display its underlying data.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”- Legend alignment, bar radius, and rendering refinements.
- Package upgrades (Plotly, jQuery) with continued IE11 compatibility.
