Form

A Form shows an object’s metadata as an editable card, laid out the way you choose rather than the way the standard metadata card orders it. Fields can be grouped into columns, rows and collapsible accordions, and each field can be shown, hidden, required or made read-only by a portal rule.

This is the module most often used to replace the metadata card outright. Everything it writes goes through normal M-Files permissions and validation, so a form cannot let someone set a value they could not set on the card itself.
